EXPERIENCED SOUS CHEF 80M MY
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join an 80m+ private, dual season MY that is currently based in Europe for the summer.
Details:
- The desired candidate will be culinary trained or/and have worked in restaurants as well as having some experience onboard yachts. Ideally this would be 1 year+ depending on your previous background.
- You must be comfortable catering to 20+ crew, providing healthy and varied meals for the team whilst also assisting the Head Chef with some guest food. The vessel typically have busy summer seasons in the Med with lots of owner usage and then spends it’s winters based out of the US. This said it would be great if you already hold your B1B2 visa.
- We are looking for someone who has a creative side, baking skills would be desirable and a well-rounded knowledge of different cuisine styles is essential. That said, you will have an opportunity to trial and test your baking between cooking for the crew, perfect for someone who wants to hone in on their skills.
- Supportive Head Chef who is looking for a strong second in command that he can trust to run the crew side of the galley.
On offer:
- Start date: ASAP, must be by the 1st of June.
- Salary: €5,750
- Leave: 60 days
