ROTATIONAL EXECUTIVE CHEF 100M
We are looking for a gifted Head Chef with a background in fine dining restaurants to join a busy dual-season charter program. With a wonderful rotational partner, great owners and lots of opportunities to push your creativity - this is not a role to be missed.
Details:
- There is an amazing, experienced galley team onboard, many who have been part of the program for a while so they are looking for a positive, supportive and knowledgeable Head Chef to lead the team. That said, you must have experience of leading similar sized galleys/larger kitchens.
- Food preferences are varied onboard allowing you to dive into a wealth of different cuisine styles. That said, you must have a wide repertoire and provide sample menus/portfolios to showcase this.
- The galley runs with a team of 3 onboard at any one time.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven longevity in the yachting industry with experience on charter vessels.
- Ideally you will have similar sized vessel experience and understand the demands on a galley of this size.
- Strong culinary background with a range of cuisine knowledge under your belt. A fine dining restaurant background is a must.
- This is a no egos, no negativity galley so they are looking for someone who will match this dynamic and come well recommended.
- Confident in planning varied menus, with a range of knowledge on different cuisine styles and preferences under your belt.
Package:
- Rotation: 2:2
- Salary: DOE but very competitive, paid in euros.
- Start Date: Mid-July onwards. You will have a handover with the rotational Head Chef and then dive straight into a trip so you must be happy to hit the ground running.
