GALLEY HAND 120M+ MY
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Galley Hand to join a 120m+, privately owned motor yacht. With wonderful Head Chefs and a supportive wider team, this is a great chance for a Chef newer to yachting to work within a high-profile program.
The role:
• Managing all aspects of the galley maintenance and cleaning schedules. You will be responsible for making sure all daily, weekly and monthly duties are completed to a high standard.
• Working closely with the wider team of 7 chefs, all of whom share a collaborative mindset in maintaining the galley cleanliness.
• Assisting with some crew food if desired, this is not a requirement, but more an opportunity to get involved in the onboard cooking if all other duties are completed.
• Private program operating dual season
• Start date: Start of March
What we’re looking for:
• Ideally 1+ year of yachting experience
• Experience on larger yachts, with 100m+ is highly desired.
• Formal culinary training or restaurant background advantageous
What’s on offer:
• Salary DOE but paid in €
• 3:1 rotation
• Excellent training budget for courses with additional onboard training that won't be taken out of the allowance.
