3RD OFFICER - 80M NEW BUILD
We are currently seeking a 3rd Officer/Bosun with an OOW in hand to join a Private 80m yacht. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a brand-new, recently launched vessel with a Caribbean/Med itinerary. They have an excellent crew and vibe onboard, as well as amazing owners!
The 3rd Officer will support the 2nd Officer and Chief Officer in all bridge operations - the role offers extensive watchkeeping exposure, alongside the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with bridge administration and paperwork.
Skills/requirements:
• OOW 3000gt is essential as you will hold your own watches
• 4+ years of yacht experience – proven longevity and hands-on deck knowledge required
• Previous Bosun experience preferred. Would be open to candidates with Lead Deckhand experience on a 70m+ yachts
• Highly advantageous if you've got Raytheon Type specific ECDIS, and are familiar with DAGAMA and chart updates
• B1/B2 Visa – a must
