We are seeking a motivated Deckhand to join a 70m+ private MY in the Med. This is a great opportunity for someone who is serious about building a long-term career in yachting and keen to develop their practical deck and maintenance skills.
The role:
• Full Deckhand position supporting all exterior operations, maintenance, and guest activities
• Strong focus on hands-on maintenance, including painting, varnishing, and general upkeep
• Opportunity to develop carpentry and practical maintenance skills onboard
• Med-based single-season program
• Start date: early October
What we’re looking for:
• Ideally 1 year of previous yachting experience
• Yachtmaster preferred but not essential
• Trade background or hands-on carpentry/building experience would be highly beneficial
• Well-spoken and professional, with an understanding of guest service; hospitality or restaurant experience would be advantageous
• Career-focused, with a genuine interest in progressing within the industry
• Positive team player who enjoys getting involved with the wider crew
• Must have the right to repatriate to Europe
• Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements
