We have a great opportunity for an experienced Chief Engineer to join a brand-new 40m MY in Italy, with official launch scheduled for May 2027. You will be working closely with the Captain from the yard to set the vessel up prior to it going operational. 

The role:
• Get the vessel operational from an engineering perspective, putting systems in place and creating an organised and efficient department from the offset
• Manage the safe operation of the vessel pre and post launch
• Liaise closely with the Captain and management company 
• Private Mediterranean-based program.
• Joining the vessel in September

What we’re looking for:
• Minimum Y3
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
• High safety standards with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive approach and team player attitude
•Must have existing new build experience or extensive yard knowledge
•EU passport advantageous. 

What’s on offer:
• Salary: €9,500 -/+DOE.
• Leave: 60 days.
