We have a 40m private/charter MY seeking a Chief Engineer to join them ASAP. The vessel operates between the Med and Caribbean with both private and charter use. This is a great opportunity for a talented and adaptable Chief Engineer to join a new project and make the engine room their own.
The role:
• This role requires a technically strong and proactive individual capable of managing all onboard systems, maintenance and supporting smooth operations.
• You will play a key role in ensuring the yacht runs efficiently and reliably throughout both private and charter use.
• B1/B2 visa in hand ideally
What we're looking for:
• Proven experience as a Chief Engineer on a similar sized yacht
• Relevant engineering certification minimum Y3
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills
• Confident mentoring a Deck/Engineer
• Ideally you will be able to join asap, there could be some slight flexibility for the right candidate
